Magical Readathon TBR

The Magical Readathon is back!!!! And this time G has really outdone herself. After deciding not to use the Harry Potter universe anymore, she has created her own world to set her magical readathon in, and it is Amazing!!

The Readathon will take place in the month of September, in which we will go down the Novice Path, where we have to showcase our skill to reach the Orilium Academy. There are 7 prompts, but you only have to fullfill two to succeed.

The Novice Path Entrance: read a book with a map

Ashtorn Tree: a book that keeps tempting you (or top of your TBR)

The Mist of Solitude: read a standalone

Ruin of the Skye: read a book featuring ghosts/haunted house, or other supernatural elements

Obsidian Falls: read a thriller or mystery book

Tower of Rumination: read a five star prediction

Orilium Academy Arc: book with a school setting

And for now my TBR looks like this (although it may still change, especially the mystery/thriller prompt).

But there is more, a Lot more…

The next part of the Readathon will take place in April, when we are actually at the Academy. But before then you have to do a bit more work. You have to create your character.

Or at least part of it. Some parts, such as Guild and Calling can only be decided by April. But Background, Province and Heritage have to be decided by April, and you have to read books for it. Of course, there are prompts again:

G has provided a extensive document with information on the provinces and the people, so I won’t be explaining those here at all. I’ll just show you the character I have created and books I am planning to read for it.

I hope I can fit these book into September still as well, but seeing as I have no idea what the month will bring I am fine to push these on to October (or later).

And more exciting news: I think The Husband may be joining in as well. He was quite hesitant at first, but after hearing about the character creation he was really tempted. And seeing as one only needs to read 2 books in September and another 3 up until April I think he is up for it. And he will be a Dwarf, of course…
