Another week, another Top Ten Tuesday… with this week book characters I’d love to be besties with. It was kinda tricky to come up with 10, but I managed. Weird thing is though, they are mostly female characters. I say weird, because IRL most of my friends are guys. I guess most people on this list are just female characters I in some way admire, and therefore like to be friends with? As always, don’t forget to drop by at That Artsy Reader Girl, who does a wonderful job hosting this.
Suri, she is just so down to earth and awesome. She is just one of my favourite characters ever.
Isabella. First of, she is a naturalist so I feel we would have a lot of common interests (me having studied biology). Secondly, she is awesome. A smart, brave and cunning woman, who doesn’t let anyone tell her what to do and follows her dreams.
Morrigan Crow, just so I can go to Nevermoor and visit the awesome hotel she lives in.
Nanny Ogg, because you are sure to have a fun time when she is around!
Irene, so I can visit the invisible library. Also, she is Awesome.
Abigail, again a smart, young woman who is brave and cunning and doesn’t let anything stop her and is just awesome…
Miss Hobbes, same reason as Isabelle, Abigail and Irene.
Dr Greta Helsing, also smart and cunning. Does what needs to be done, and always prepared to help anyone (especially her friends).
To have a guy on here, Peter Grant. He is a wizard. His mom is a great cook and his dad is a musician. He is a nerd. He likes a drink. His humour is great. Also it may be handy to have connections who work for the police?
So those are 10 bookish characters I would not mind to be friends with. Who is your bookish bestie?
Hoping you are having a lovely day,
