I was so surprised to find out that The Bookish Underdog had nominated me for the Blogger Recognition Award. I can’t believe someone would think of me for an award. Thank you so so so so much!!! π
The rules are as follows:
- Write a post to show your award.
- Give a brief story of how your blog started.
- Give two advice to new bloggers.
- Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
- Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to.
How my blog started:
I have always been into reading. I made a Goodreads account back in 2012 and actively started to write reviews somewhere last year. But I wanted more! I wanted somewhere I could fangirl or hate on all the books I have been reading, not just the ones I recently read and wrote reviews about. I have been watching BookTube forever, but don’t have the guts to start something like that myself. This is when one of my friends on Goodreads posted a link to the blog she and a friend had created (thank you Raven and Beez!!!). So that is how I ended up here, I started my own blog and soon after got challenged in a few tags. I got so excited, and still am. I am really happy I decided to do this.
Advice to new bloggers:
I have only just started so I am most definitely not an expert. But I guess, don’t stress! Have fun! Write the stuff you would like to read, don’t worry about what others might want to read. Just be yourself and do whatever you like to do. If you see a tag somewhere you would like to do, don’t worry about the fact if you are tagged or not, just do it. Don’t worry aboutΒ the number of followers you have got. If you have fun the followers will come. Everyone here is so supportive to each other. Just be nice to others, give a like or maybe comment on their posts if you think you might have something to say. It is a good way to get involved and everyone appreciates it. π
And now I have to tag 15 people. I have no idea who have done this already, so don’t worry about it if you have. Just see it as a confirmation of your awesomeness.

Your advice is golden. Two thumbs up.
BookTubers amaze me; being comfortable and confident in front of a camera/gazillions of viewers, while speaking coherently about books? What is this sorcery? I don’t blame you for not wanting to give it a try!
Thanks for the tag! Lets see if I can come up with advice as good as yours. π

Great advice! I used to wait to be tagged for things, but then I realized I didn’t have to, and I’m glad I did. Now I can take part in the tag fun when I’m in the mood to do one. π
